Plus, Klaus Is Getting Witchy

The Originals took a nice little hiatus a few weeks ago, and next Tuesday will finally mark the return of the show, which is winding down on its first season. It's hard to believe the season finale will premiere on May 13, which is only about a month away.
Given that we've had a couple weeks to reflect on the past few episodes, we just have one thing to say: We miss Rebekah (Claire Holt).

And we're not alone. The internet is still talking about her exit from The Originals. We keep hoping that she'll realize she misses the show just as much as it misses her and announce a Season 2 return. While the show is still fantastic and worth every single minute spent watching, it also feels not entirely complete. Rebekah's story can't be over.
Thankfully, Holt seems to agree. "As far as I'm concerned, this is a temporary hiatus," the actress explained during The Originals' panel at PaleyFest this year. "I do realize that I'm so not ready to let go of the Mikaelsons, so I hope there are many more stories to tell."
In the meantime, we have to hope that Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin
) snark is enough to carry us through. So far, we haven't been disappointed, and it seems like a trend the show intends on sticking to. She can be seen arguing with Elijah (Daniel Gillies) again in the promo, after all. That's quickly becoming her MO.
