The Originals Season 2 Spoilers: Kaleb Comes to Town — And He Hates the Mikaelsons

We’re still thoroughly entrenched in Season 1 of The Originals, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to ignore perfectly good Season 2 spoilers. There’s a new character coming to the French Quarter, and he is not the Mikaelson’s No. 1 fan.
According to E! Online, Season 2 will introduce Kaleb, “a paranormal psychologist, who (surprise, surprise!) is not a fan of the Mikaelson family.” Join the club, Kaleb! Most of the French Quarter seems to have a problem with the Mikaelsons. Though, to be fair, they’re not the easiest to get along with that with all of the heart-ripping-outage.

Might this new character be an acquaintance of Cami’s. The human bartender is a psychologist, too. Does Kaleb come to town to see Cami? Or maybe she even asks him to visit the French Quarter to help her deal with the supernatural community’s greatest danger: its occupants own mental instability. We have a feeling that Cami is going to become a leader in the human faction, and the humans can use all of the secret weapons they can get — psychoanalysis included. See more

Once Upon a Time sneak peek: Zelena and Rumple hook up?

What About Belle?

Regina seeks help from an unusual source to defeat Zelena. Meanwhile, Zelena and Rumple get naughty. Check out sneak peek photos and video from the April 20 episode, "Bleeding Through."

When last we saw the gang from Once Upon a Time, Hook was having terrible time of it thanks to Zelena's dastardly plan. Up until this point in the season, just exactly what Hook had been up to during the missing year was mostly a mystery. But thanks to the Wicked Witch (aka Zelena), it was discovered that everyone's favorite pirate went on an adventure to get back his dearly beloved ship, the Jolly Roger.

Once Upon a Time sneak peek: What did Hook do for a year? >>

Ariel visited Hook as he was celebrating with his mates after a successful caper. It turned out that Prince Eric had been taken captive by the Dread Pirate Roberts and... oops, wrong pirate. Actually, Eric was being held by Blackbeard on Hook's old ship. So Hook and Ariel went to get him back, but Hook let his desire to be a pirate get the better of him, and he killed Blackbeard before they could find out where Eric was.
Wracked by guilt back in Storybrooke, Hook finally admitted the truth to Ariel, only to discover that she was in fact the Wicked Witch in disguise. As if that weren't bad enough, she got him to admit that his true love was Emma and then put a curse on his lips (those beautiful lips) that would take away Emma's powers, should he ever kiss her. Talk about wicked.

Once Upon a Time adds another Wicked villain >>

In the April 20 episode, titled "Bleeding Through," Regina will enlist the help of someone very special to try and defeat Zelena. Check out the official synopsis from ABC: See more

The Originals episode 18 review: The Big Uneasy

Another fast-paced episode of The Originals ramps up the tensions between the various factions...

This review contains spoilers.
1.18 The Big Uneasy
It only took 42-minutes for Elijah quest for peace and inter-species party times to go belly up but, boy, was The Big Uneasy fun to watch. Exhausting, but fun. I’ve said it before but, if there’s one thing The Originals seems to have inherited from its parent show, it’s the fast, breakneck storytelling pace; able to explore a potentially season-long arc in just one brilliant episode and then just moving onto the next like it’s no big deal. That might have meant that we’ve seen allegiances change in this first season more times than we can reasonably keep track of, but, with The Vampire Diaries currently parked on its laurels and refusing to move, it’s a good thing.
After coming back from a lengthy hiatus, The Originals didn’t bother with much catch-up and went straight into set-up for the upcoming string of episodes leading up to the finale. Elijah is standing around looking smug about his brilliant plan to achieve peace in New Orleans, Klaus is scheming with the werewolves, Marcel is scheming with Thierry and Hayley has settled into her role as Queen of her pack quite nicely. If anything, everyone has a little piece of the power pie but, as is almost always the case when different factions try to co-exist, no one is happy with just a little piece.
The party was an ingenious way of getting everyone together, with Elijah still determined to instil peace to his family’s city and not anticipating that exiled former monarch Marcel might try to sabotage his efforts. This was actually a big episode for Elijah, as his moralistic determination was given a kicking throughout, finally imploding when he found out that, not only are the werewolves, witches and humans passively aggressively fighting against his plan, but Klaus has also chosen to side with a family not perceived to be his own. It’s with Elijah that Rebekah’s absence can be most keenly felt, and his shift this week puts him on his own. see more

The Originals Sneak Peek: Which Duo Is Plotting Against Klaus and Elijah Now? Plus, Scoop From Charles Michael Davis

Another day, another enemy for the Mikaelson family!
The Originals (finally) returns tomorrow, Tuesday, April 15, from its little mini-hiatus (Ugh, aren't they the worst?!) and is jumping right back into the center of the storm that is the supernatural fight for New Orleans.
And though he's been banished from the French Quarter by Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) after his betrayal was revealed, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) isn't giving up his throne without a fight. One thing he needs in his war against the Mikaelsons? Numbers.
We've got an exclusive sneak peek from tomorrow night's episode of the CW hit, "The Big Uneasy," which finds Marcel recruiting an old friend to be his right-hand vamp...

When we chatted with Charles Michael Davis at The Originals' PaleyFest panel, he teased that Marcel and Klaus' next interaction would not be a pleasant one.
"Klaus is going to be a real jerk, a real a--hole," he said with a laugh. "Marcel is going to be super cool, he's going to come from a really, strong, grounded, secure place. They're probably going to get into a little heated battle."
Davis also said viewers may see Marcel team up with some unlikely allies in order to regain control of NoLa."Everyone is looking to gain leverage, so I think there are people who can see Marcel as an asset," he previewed.
The Originals airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on the CW. See more

'The Tomorrow People' Recap: The Ceasefire That Wasn't

The Tomorrow People sure knows how to keep our hearts racing. "Modus Vivendi" has everything ... love, sex, betrayal, blood and guts, re-animation of a frozen person, jealousy and a wise-cracking super computer.

Bathory declares a desire to strike a modus vivendi with The Tomorrow People. What is that, you ask? Modus vivendi is a fancy way of saying there will be a temporary agreement between warring factions such that they "agree to peacefully disagree" so both sides can conduct the business of life without threat of harm from the opponent. In other words, let's all play nice in the sandbox, capisce? But nothing is as it seems with Bathory, The Founder. Let's dig in!

Jedikiah Stands Vigil, Bathory Screams "Crucify!"

When the episode opens, Jed slips into Ultra, kills his way past two guards, then tries unsuccessfully to shoot his way into the bat cave where The Machine, which I like to call the Stargate, awaits.

Bathory addresses the troops calling for Jed's head on a platter. (This doesn't sound much like a ceasefire, does it? Just wait.) We must put an end to his brutal regime, to your former leader's deranged reprisals, he roars. And a battle cry goes up from the crowd, "Heil Bathory! Off with his head!"

Stephen sends a brain tweet to John about the price on Jedikiah's head and John takes off for Jedikiah's where he's been living next to his frozen brother. Jed pleads with John to join him, but John says you have to leave this place or they will find both of you and what good will that do? But Jed is desperate and he looks like he hasn't been eating or sleeping very well so, yeah, he's a bit deranged.

Stephen, still playing both sides and hoping to find out what his dad was so desperate to tell him during his first visit through the Stargate, eagerly begs Bathory for another spin around the block in The Machine. Bathory pulls a Yoda and tells Stephen he needs to go through his paces and learn to be purposeful with his ability to stop time. Basically, Stephen needs to show that he can raise an X-Wing out of a swamp (thank you, George Lucas) before Bathory will let him back in The Time Machine. See more

The Originals: Claire Holt Sets Record Straight on Why She Left

Fans were shocked earlier this month when The Originals star Claire Holt suddenly exited the show before the end of Season 1. Though some speculated that Rebekah Mikaelson's story line had run dry, Holt set the record straight at Saturday's PaleyFest event.
The Originals shocker: Which series regular has left the show?
"I wasn't pushed out," she said. "I didn't quit midseason. This was something we discussed form the start. I made a life choice, not a career choice. I made a choice to come home for a while. I realized I hadn't seen people that I loved and cared about for a while. It was so tough for me."
The last we saw of Rebekah, her brother Klaus (Joseph Morgan) had vowed to kill her after discovering that she had brought their dastardly father to New Orleans in the past. But the two came to a détente, with Klaus setting Rebekah free. Fortunately, that's not the last time we'll see Rebekah. see more

Once Upon a Time sneak peek: What did Hook do for a year?

Living The Pirate's Life

Facts about Hook's missing year are exposed and Emma reveals some surprising plans. Check out sneak peek videos and photos from the April 13 episode of Once Upon a Time, "The Jolly Roger."

In the last episode of Once Upon a Time, Zelena challenged Regina to a magical duel and revealed to the town that she was Regina's sister. The challenge and the revelation made Regina question herself and her powers, especially after she realized that an old letter from Rumple to her mother wasn't talking about her, but Zelena.

Once Upon a Time adds another Wicked villain >>

While Regina was dealing with her inner turmoil, Emma took a group to Zelena's to try to snag Rumple's blade. They were quickly thwarted when Zelena showed up and set Rumple upon them. When the time came for the duel and Regina wasn't there, Emma stood up for herself, but wasn't able to fully take on Zelena. Luckily, Regina arrived and the sisters battled for power. In the end, Zelena was defeated when she discovered that she couldn't steal Regina's heart.
During all of the melee, Emma put Henry in the protection of Hook, who told the boy about his father and how much the two of them had in common.
In the April 13 episode, titled "The Jolly Roger," it looks like more will be learned about the missing year and what Hook was doing during that time. See more

The Originals Synopsis For Season 1, Episode 20: "A Closer Walk With Thee"

There’s a death coming on The Originals, and Season 1, Episode 20 (“A Closer Walk With Thee”) is going to have the aftermath of this high profile death. The synopsis for the previous episode all but promised that Father Kieran would be meeting his maker, finally giving into the hex the witches placed on him a while back.

During a “celebratory wake to honor a fallen member of the community” (the preacher, duh),Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will come up against a new threat to herself and her unborn hybrid baby. This leaves Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) no choice but to turn to Genevieve(Elyse Levesque) for the witch community’s help. The only problem? She has absolutely no control over the witches, led by Davina (Danielle Campbell).

And in true Hamlet fashion, Klaus is going to have haunting memories of his dear ol’ dad that make him examine his toxic relationship with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), his own adoptive son. Daddy issues galore. See more

The Originals Star Joseph Morgan: The Season 1 Finale Script Is "To Die For"

The Originals has enjoyed a killer first season, which has only gotten better with each episode. We’re dying to see what goes down in the sure-to-be-epic Season 1 finale, and it sounds like it will be worth the wait. Though we still have five episodes before the season-ender,The Originals cast and crew just did its table read of the episode. What did star Joseph Morgan (Klaus) have to tweet about it?

“Today we do a table read of the finale of season one #TheOriginals A script to die for baby,” JoMotweeted. It’s a sign of just how far gone we are on this show that we see not one, but two possible puns in that tweet. First: “a script to die for.” Does this mean that someone will actually die in the Season 1 finale? Executive producer Julie Plec has said before that both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals will see their fair share of death before their seasons are out — and some of those deaths will be main characters. Who is biting it in the Season 1 finale ofThe Originals?! See more

Plus, Klaus Is Getting Witchy

The Originals took a nice little hiatus a few weeks ago, and next Tuesday will finally mark the return of the show, which is winding down on its first season. It's hard to believe the season finale will premiere on May 13, which is only about a month away.
Given that we've had a couple weeks to reflect on the past few episodes, we just have one thing to say: We miss Rebekah (Claire Holt).

Fantasy gets another year! The CW announces early renewals >>

And we're not alone. The internet is still talking about her exit from The Originals. We keep hoping that she'll realize she misses the show just as much as it misses her and announce a Season 2 return. While the show is still fantastic and worth every single minute spent watching, it also feels not entirely complete. Rebekah's story can't be over.
Thankfully, Holt seems to agree. "As far as I'm concerned, this is a temporary hiatus," the actress explained during The Originals' panel at PaleyFest this year. "I do realize that I'm so not ready to let go of the Mikaelsons, so I hope there are many more stories to tell."
In the meantime, we have to hope that Hayley's (Phoebe Tonkin
) snark is enough to carry us through. So far, we haven't been disappointed, and it seems like a trend the show intends on sticking to. She can be seen arguing with Elijah (Daniel Gillies) again in the promo, after all. That's quickly becoming her MO.

'Witches of East End' Season 2: Promotional shoots have begun

Witches of East End” is one of the most anticipated shows for the upcoming fall 2014 season. The fact that there is little to no information available about the second season is driving fans crazy. A few weeks back pre-production was talked about but nothing was elaborated on. According to an April 6 post on Rachel Boston's official Facebook page, the witches were in Hollywood doing the promotional shoots. This has fans everywhere buzzing about Season 2 and what it will bring.
When Season 1 of “Witches of East End” ended, fans were wondering about the fate of Ingrid and Aunt Wendy. Obviously if Rachel Boston is doing promotional shoots, Ingrid will be returning for Season 2. There is still no word on whether or not the entire cast is returning or if any of the characters actually died. Freddie Prinze Jr. did confirm that his character, Leo would not be returning in Season 2. As for the story lines, fans are assuming that it may be set in Asgard.
As more information about Season 2 of “Witches of East End” comes out, there will be more speculations and theories. The estimated date of release for Season 2 seems to be around October of 2014, but fans are hoping it will return with the other fall programming in September. See More

The Originals Spoilers: Nathan Parsons Dishes on the Jackson-Haley-Elijah Love Triangle

One of the best storylines from Season 1 of The Originals has been watching Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) come into her own and bounce back and forth between the vampire camp and her werewolf kin in the bayou — not to mention her love triangle with Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Jackson (Nathan Parsons). What does the end of the season have in store for these three?
“Their relationship is complicated,” Nathan told TVLine about the werewolf duo. “Jackson has watched Haley as a wolf for years, so he’s had a lot of time to get to know her. When the curse was broken and he finally got to talk to her in person, he’d built up an entire relationship in his head. So for him to just say, ‘Hey, I’m that wolf that’s been watching you and we’re supposed to be married,’ that was a lot to throw at her at once.”

And with Hayley about to give birth to Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) baby, things are getting all too real for Jackson — not to mention the fact that Hayley is important to the werewolf cause.
“You want the pack to be strong and you want Hayley to be the queen, but she also has a relationship with the vampires,” Nathan said. “I think Jackson will use that relationship to get back into the good graces of the Original vampires. It’s a tough line to walk; you want the personal relationship, but you also need the political relationship.”

But will it be easy to get on the good side of the Original vamps seeing as how he and Elijah are fighting over the same lady? See More

Luke Mitchell a natural selection for The Tomorrow People

AMERICANS are falling in love with Australia's Romeo, Luke Mitchell.
The young actor won the 2010 Logie for Most Popular New Male Talent for his role as Home and Away heart throb Romeo Smith.
Now he's based in the Canadian city of Vancouver for the hit supernatural drama The Tomorrow People.
"It's been a lot of fun, but it's also been a big learning curve," Mitchell told The Guide.
"I have to do a lot of fight scenes, you know, a lot of additional stuff most actors don't have to worry about. It's about tying the two in together, learning how to fight effectively and also act at the same time.
"There are some challenging situations we find ourselves in, but it wouldn't be interesting if it wasn't challenging."
Mitchell counts his lucky stars for the swiftness with which he landed the role.
"The speed at which it happened, that was the thing that took me by surprise," he said.
"I'd really only been in LA for about two weeks before I got the role. It was a very special moment.
"It's hard out there. Even just knowing people who are unemployed over here makes me work that much harder to appreciate the role I have."

The Tomorrow People follows a group of extraordinary people dubbed "Homo superior".
"The best way to describe it is they're the next stage in human evolution," he said.
"They've developed these powers called the three T's: telekinesis, telepathy and teleportation."
Mitchell plays John Young, the leader of the Tomorrow People.
"They're living underground in hiding because there's a government organisation called Ultra trying to hunt them down and eradicate them," Mitchell said.
"They also don't want to scare the human population. If humans were to know there was an evolved species in their midst there might be riots. It instantly and very quickly gets more and more involved." See More

Once Upon a Time’ season 3, episode 16 recap:

Once Upon a Time ventures down the yellow brick road to uncover the story of the Wicked Witch on tonight’s episode, “It’s Not Easy Being Green.”
Witches, and cyclones, and emeralds, oh my! Tonight’s season 3, episode 16, “It’s Not Easy Being Green,” tips its cap to The Wizard of Oz several times as it explains the truth behind Zelena’s past and reveals her plans for the future. Check out our full recap for what lies down the yellow brick road!
Twisted Stories: One way to arrive in Oz is via cyclone. A pair of travelers on the yellow brick road stumble upon a baby in a basket tied with a green ribbon. The husband does not want to take in the baby after watching her move a tree with a wave of her hand, but his wife insists on raising her inside the city of Oz.
In Storybrooke, Neal is lain to rest in the forest. At a wake in Granny’s Diner, Hook checks in with Emma, who would rather throw darts than try to process her anger with alcohol. Although vengeance will not make her feel better, Hook proposes something that may take Henry’s mind off of the whispering crowds. Killian takes Henry out to the docks to share the stories of the boy he took on board the Jolly Roger. Their quality time may help both of them process Neal’s death.
Zelena’s foster father teaches her to always put on her best face no matter what you feel inside. Not a practitioner of his own advice, Zelena’s father openly disapproves of her magical abilities. Zelena heads to Oz to consult the man behind the curtain, the Great and Terrible Wizard of Oz. The wizard tells her about Cora’s decision to abandon her firstborn after she realized that Zelena would never be able to marry into royalty.
The wizard grants her non-copyrighted silver slippers to take her to Rumpelstiltskin, the man responsible for teaching her sister. Showing up in Regina’s room, Rumple discovers Cora’s secret first daughter and recognizes Zelena shows great promise, but her jealously stands in the way of a breakthrough.
Sister, Sister: Tinker Bell attempts to strike up some gossip at Neal’s wake when she spots Robin’s lion tattoo. Regina tries to avoid the mistakes of her past, but when Zelena arrives, she leaves Regina to find out the truth of their relationship and promises to meet her for a showdown on main street at dark.
Down in the vault, Regina finds a letter that proves she is connected to Zelena and will fight her own battle. Regina ventures to the woods, rereading the letter and searching for a haven to process her revelation. Unfortunately, an admirer interrupts her train of thought.
Robin inquires what the piece of paper she clings to reveals about her past. When the master of pickpocketing produces the slip of paper, Regina allows him to read the note, revealing that the discovery of Cora’s first born is the most powerful sorceress ever known. Regina had taken comfort in the fact that she was the subject of the letter during her years of struggle and held onto the confidence the paper gave her. Unfortunately, it was talking about someone else. If the man who taught her everything about magic understands no one can match Zelena’s power, what chance does Regina have? See more

The Originals' Nathan Parsons on Hayley's Future With Jackson, the 'Explosive' Finale and More

We’re exactly one week away from the return of The CW’s The Originals (April 15, 8/7c) – and just when you thought the stakes couldn’t get any higher in the Big Easy, enter “the original werewolves.”
RELATED | The Originals Pics: Klaus Gives Davina an ‘Important Gift,’ Genevieve Remains Shady
TVLine spoke with Nathan Parsons (aka Hayley’s were-fiancĂ© Jackson) about what we can expect from those new wolves, Jackson’s blossoming relationship with Hayley and the rest of Season 1.
TVLINE | Even in its first season, The Originals is pretty complicated. How familiar were you with it when you joined?
I was familiar with the general mythology from The Vampire Diaries, because I’d met Julie [Plec] and a few of the executive producers when I read for a few parts. Actually, I read for one of the vampires back when The Originals was casting as a pilot. I kept myself up to date on the mythology, so when they called again for the part of Jackson, it wasn’t tough to catch up.
TVLINE | You were almost a vampire? Do you remember which one you read for?
I don’t, unfortunately. They actually don’t tell you the names when you go in. It’s all very secretive.
TVLINE | Let’s talk Hayley and Jackson. What’s really going on there?
Their relationship is complicated. Jackson has watched Hayley as a wolf for years, so he’s had a lot of time to get to know her. When the curse was broken and he finally got to talk to her in person, he’d built up an entire relationship in his head. So for him to just say, “Hey, I’m that wolf that’s been watching you and we’re supposed to be married,” that was a lot to throw at her at once. I think she was a little taken aback. Also, the reality is starting to set in for Jackson: Hayley is pregnant with Klaus’ child. Nothing ever goes the way you plan it. See more

The Walking Dead: Scott Gimple Says Bones Don’t Necessarily Mean Cannibals In Terminus

The big assumption by most viewers of The Walking Dead is that the people of Terminus are cannibals. There is a great deal of compelling evidence which back up the possibility, not the least of which was a scene in the Season 4 Finale that showed Rick, Michonne, Daryl, and Carl running past what appeared to be a lot of bloody human bones.
In an interview with the print edition of TV Guide (on newsstands now), The Walking Dead showrunner Scott Gimple confirmed that the bones in the Season 4 Finale were human, but he warned viewers not to assume the people of Terminus were cannibals.

“As far as the bones go, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they ate those people – but it definitely doesn’t seem like anything good happened, either,” said Gimple. “We’re going to learn more about Gareth and Terminus [early next season], with answers that will come fast and furious.”
So what about that big grill that Mary was cooking on? Gimple has an explanation for that as well.
“They have a grill, but it might have simply been a parallel to the fact that [a barbecue] was the meeting place of everybody in the prison community,” said Gimple. See more

The Walking Dead: 5 things we want from season 5

The Walking Dead has departed our screens for another seven months - the zombie hit offered up what Digital Spy labelled "a stirring season ender" on Sunday night (March 30), bringing its fourth run to a close.

Audience numbers for the cable series continue to be stellar - both October's premiere and the weekend's finale broke ratings records - but on a creative level, it's been a rocky year.

DS readers, like critics, have been split - for every user arguing that the show had grown "tedious", there was another claiming that The Walking Dead was still growing "stronger week-by-week".

Showrunner Scott Gimple's desire to shake up the format of a show fast becoming a cable veteran was admirable, but it was a venture that has resulted in as many failures as successes.

Season four was in no way an outright failure but it was frustratingly inconsistent, offering up only fleeting bursts of the show's trademark brutal brilliance.

The Walking Dead used to be the best show on television - it remains terrific entertainment, but that lofty title has eluded it of late.

Here's five things the Week in Geek wants from season five - what The Walking Dead needs to do if it wants to fire on all cylinders again. See more

'Once Upon a Time' to Add 'Wonderland' Star as Series Regular

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland star Michael Socha is poised to join ABC's flagship series when the fairy-tale drama is officially renewed for a fourth season, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Socha plays Will Scarlet/Knave of Hearts in the Wonderland spinoff. On Friday, ABC canceled the 13-episode series -- originally intended to bridge the gap between Once seasons -- and announced that Thursday's closer would also serve as its final episode.

The news comes two days after Once said goodbye to series regular Michael Raymond-James, whose character Neal was killed off after a two-season run.

Originals Stars Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies Strike a Handsome Pose on Set

Could The Originals frontmen be any sexier? Probably not. Joseph Morgan (Klaus) and Daniel Gillies (Elijah) are two handsome, handsome men. If you’re looking for a reminder of that fact, check out this photo of the on-screen brothers posing on the set of their hit CW show.
“The Voodoo, who do, what you don't dare do people ;),” Joseph tweeted, along with a photo of he and Daniel looking studly on set outside of a voodoo shop, a marching band hanging in the background. Basically, just another day in the life of a handsome television vampire. As much as we already miss Rebekah (Claire Holt), was there really ever any doubt that this show would survive with only two of the three incredibly charming Mikaelsons at the helm? (OK, maybe we wavered for a second — then we remembered Klaus’ eye-twinkle and Elijah’s killer jawline, and we started breathing again.)
On another note, are we the only ones who think that Joseph and Daniel’s costumes look a but funereal? Perhaps we’re just paranoid given all of the funeral-themed spoilers that have been flying about recently, but we rarely seen them both so done up — at least outside of a party zone. Sure, Elijah may sleep in a suit, but Klaus is all about the Henleys and man necklaces. If this is part of the hinted-at funeral scene, it gives us another clue: both Klaus and Elijah will be in attendance. That certainly implies that the victim is someone they both know and moderately respect. Any guesses, TVDers? See more
