Division seems to be the theme of the next episode of "The Originals."
Elijah may be trying his best bring the witches, werewolfs and vamps together in the French Quarter, but much to his dismay his counterparts are making sneaky advances towards separation.
While Elijah already has to keep a watchful eye out for his menacing brother, Klaus, the Original gets donned with the agonizing task of presiding over the annual Feast of Blessings, which is a yearly festival where the supernaturals give offerings to the witches in return for prosperity, WetPaint reported. Only adding to Elijah's stresses, supreme witches Genevieve and Monique are steadily increasing their band of witches in an attempt to start an all out war against their enemies.
Klaus has given the witches several reasons to create an army against him, but with Marcel also enlisting his fellow vampires to help fight whatever Klaus is doing with the witches, the Original Mikaelson brother may soon find himself caught in the cross fire.
It should come to no surprise that Klaus is also plotting some mischief of his own. Once again going behind his brother's back, Klaus aims to track down a distant werewolf relative named Cary. Also in an attempt to keep up his relationship with the witches, he offers Davina a gift that she won't be able to refuse. See more

Rainbow bright! Phoebe Tonkin shines at Beverly Hills gala in colorful frock
Australian actress Phoebe Tonkin brought some colour to the red carpet on Saturday night.
The 24-year-old former H20: Just Add Water star certainly had heads turning as she stepped out in a rainbow dress at The Humane Society Of The United States 60th Anniversary Benefit Gala in Beverly Hills.
As she posed for the cameras, Phoebe smiled and showed off her flowing frock, complete with multi-coloured rectangular prints.

The dress definitely had a sophisticated touch, with its mullet-style laced border and a matching lace finishing at the top.
Phoebe, who currently stars in US drama The Originals, let her statement dress do the talking and kept accessories to a minimum.
She strut the red carpet in a pair of black strappy heels and sported a matching long handbag.

The Tomorrow People First Look: What Is The Machine?!?
Throughout The Tomorrow People Season 1, we've gotten used to Stephen Jameson getting himself into some big jams.
But the next one definitely seems to be in another league altogether.
We'll see "The Machine" for the first time on Monday's episode of this CW drama - and, in this first look photo from The Tomorrow People Season 1 Episode 19 (which airs April 14), we see that Stephen is going to get caught up in it pretty quickly.
But what is the purpose of The Machine? Is it a good or bad thing for The Tomorrow People's battle against Ultra? Does Stephen get involved because of his quest to find his father? Is Jedekiah somehow entagled?
Is it critical that Stephen be shirtless? (We're not complaining about a shirtless Robbie Amell, mind you).
One thing we can tell you is that The Machine is a major aspect of the stories that will drive us this series toward its climatic finale. See more

‘Vampire Diaries’: How Luke’s ‘Loyalty’ To Liv Could Ruin Everything
When we found out Luke’s real identity at the end of the March 18 episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ we knew things were about to get real. And now we’ve talked to the man behind the character who revealed just how dynamic his intentions are.
Luke (Chris Brochu) isn’t just the new guy on campus at Whitmore College, but he may just be what comes between the core group on The Vampire Diaries. HollywoodLife.com chatted with Chris before the new episode and he revealed that Luke’s relationship with Liv (Penelope Mitchell) may just be stronger than anyone can handle.‘Vampire Diaries’: Luke Plays ‘Balancing Act’
When it comes to Luke, we haven’t seen much just yet — just that he’s the brother of Liv, the witch that is pretending to not know she is a witch to get closer to Bonnie. However, we don’t yet know why they want to get close.“The biggest thing between Liv and myself is the loyalty, the family bond. It’s that blood’s thicker than water,” Chris told HollywoodLife.com exclusively before the episode. “You know, he will always be there for his sister, because his sister has always been there for him. So they very much have that kind of balancing dynamic. Liv is very a go getter and Luke — he follows the rules but he also follows his heart in situations, so I think that kind of balance is what’s going to be interesting to the viewers and as well the storyline coming up, leading up to the finale.”
However, on the new episode, the synopsis teases an “unsettling encounter” that Luke will have with Bonnie, followed by Liv making a deal with Jeremy (Steven McQueen) that upsets Elena (Nina Dobrev). See more
The Originals Spoilers: “The Big Uneasy” Images & Description
Here's a really long description with new spoilers. Some official photos were just released too, which you can find under the description.
THE FEAST OF THE BLESSINGS — Genevieve (guest star Elyse Levesque) asks Elijah (Daniel Gillies) to allow her coven to publicly celebrate a traditional feast day, where members of the community offer the witches gifts in return for blessings. Monique (guest star Yasmine Al Bustami)) and Genevieve disagree over what the ancestors want from them, and Genevieve reveals her plan to build the witches power. When Elijah focuses his attention on restoring their home to its former glory, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) accuses him of doing it only to impress Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin). Next, Klaus sets a new plan in motion by finding Cary (guest star Jesse Boyd), a werewolf from his own line, and sending him off to find a missing piece of family history. Marcel lets Thierry (guest star Callard Harris) in on his new plan to rebuild his power, but Diego (guest star Eka Darville) has his own ideas about the future. At the Feast of the Blessings, Monique and Genevieve try to use the ceremony to teach Davina (Danielle Campbell) a lesson, but Klaus intervenes and gives Davina a surprisingly important gift. While Hayley struggles to decide where her loyalties should lie, the ceremony explodes into violence. Leah Pipes also stars. Leslie Libman directed the episode written by Marguerite MacIntyre & Michael Russo (#118). See more

'The Originals': More girl and brother trouble coming for Klaus
Klaus on "The Originals" never has it easy, but it is safe to say the hybrid causes a lot of his own problems. That will continue to be the case. On March 26, TV Line shared new spoilers about Klaus' romantic life. TV Guide also shared new scoop on the hybrid, but the focus was on his relationship with Elijah.
Klaus is now spending time with a witch. There isn't a thought about Caroline on his mind. Will he stay with the witch that revealed his sister's plot to him though? It isn't likely. Joseph Morgan shared this inside scoop with TV line:

They’re two extremely damaged people who share a sense of self-loathing and they take it out on each other — sometimes physically, sometimes aggressively. Ultimately, a relationship like that can be fun, but it’s doomed, I would say, from the start. What else is doomed? The peace Klaus tried to create in New Orleans. His plot with the wolves in the city will cause problems, and Elijah will be forced to clean up his brother's mess again. A sneak peek for the next episode shows a tense moment between the brothers. Julie Plec teased the following about the brotherly fight: See more
'The Walking Dead' Season 4 finale poster asks who will survive Terminus
"The Walking Dead" Season 4 is heading toward an uncertain finale in Sunday's (March 30) "A." The weird vibes Terminus was sending out in last week's "Us" will be paid off in the last episode of this season, which just might take another character's life.
IGN has a poster teasing "A" which features the tagline: "Who will survive?" The poster shows Carol, so is she someone whose life might be at risk? At least this picture seems to prove she'll be in the episode, as she wasn't featured in any of the promos.
The synopsis for "A" reads: "Rick and the others begin to reunite at Terminus, soon realizing that the marauders are closing in, and that the so-called sanctuary is not exactly what it seems to be."
The season finale of "The Walking Dead" airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT Sunday on AMC. See more

'The Walking Dead': Who will die? (And other fearless finale theories)
Yay! Me made it to Terminus! Sooooooooo…what now? And what is Terminus anyway? And who might not make it out of the season alive? Now presenting: a few fearless theories as to what may happen on Sunday’s season 4 finale of The Walking Dead.
Terminus = To Serve Man
Remember that famous episode of The Twilight Zone where some aliens come down and say they want to take humans to show them their planet. And then the humans decipher the title of the book one of the aliens is carrying as “To Serve Man,” and say “Awwww, isn’t that sweet. They do want to help us.” One problem: IT WAS A FREAKIN’ COOKBOOK!
Could our survivors be walking into a similar trap at Terminus, only this time it is fellow humans doing the cooking…and eating? Well, for one thing, that was a pretty big grill kindly-seeming Mary was tending to when Glenn and company arrived. Also, let us not forget that after fleeing the prison in the comic book, Rick and Co. went up against a group of cannibals called The Hunters who kidnapped a dying Dale and unknowingly chomped on his infected leg. (Surprise!)
Food is getting scarce in the apocalypse so this could be the natural next step in that gnarly progression. But there are other questions about Terminus. Like, why the hell is the gate unlocked so any old zombie can just stroll right in? And why was there nobody there to take the group’s weapons, as mandated on the sign? Clearly some mysteries still to be unraveled here. Let’s just hope the plate of food Mary offered them wasn’t…you know, Beth. See more

‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3, episode 15 stills show a family affair
Once Upon a Time returns this Sunday with the episode, “Quiet Minds.” Check out the latest stills from ABC below!
This week’s Once Upon a Time welcomes back a familiar face to Storybrooke, who tries to reconnect with more than one member of his family. Finally, and probably to Hook’s dismay, Neal will show up in “Quiet Minds” and jump right into sorting out two very different father issues.
In the stills below, it appears as though Zelena is making herself right at home in the loft of Mary Margaret and David. Is it just us, or does her getup make her look even more wicked than she does with green skin? See more

'Once Upon a Time' Season 3 finale title revealed
"Once Upon a Time" showrunner Adam Horowitz gave fans something awesome to look forward to -- besides the big Wicked vs. Evil showdown -- for the season finale. He revealed the Season 3 finale title.
The "OUAT" executive producer took to Twitter on Tuesday (March 25) to reveal that Season 3, episode 22 will be called ... drumroll, please ... "There's No Place Like Home." Quite fitting for the Oz-themed back half of Season 3, no?
The episode, written by Horowitz and co-creator Edward Kitsis, will air immediately following episode 21, "Snow Drifts," on Sunday, May 11. The two-hour season finale will begin at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

'Vampire Diaries' Star Kat Graham Debuts Docu-Series About Making Album
Kat Graham is known for showing her face onscreen -- she's predominantly an actress, after all, starring as Bonnie Bennett in the supernatural drama "The Vampire Diaries" on the CW. But she also has a solid music career, one that's been active for over a decade and includes a top five Billboard hit on the dance charts with "Put Your Graffiti On Me" in 2012.
Now, Graham, in a partnership with Maker Studios, is looking to expose the inner working of her music career to all -- and, perhaps, dispel the notion that actresses who cross over to music shouldn't be taken seriously.
The 24-year-old has teamed up with Maker, which was just bought by Disney yesterday for $500 million, to present "Breaking the Record," currently a 13-part docu-series on the studio's YouTube channel that premieres today.
The series follows Graham as she creates her debut full-length album, which at this time has neither a name nor a release date. But, Graham says, "Breaking the Record" is more than just a behind-the-scenes look at how she records the album -- it's a documentation of "the whole process, from beginning to end."
"I would always complain," she tells Billboard. "I would say, 'Nobody sees what I'm going through! [They] just see the videos that are on MTV or the records that are on the radio.'"
Though she was approached by multiple TV networks to do a docu-series, Graham eventually settled on Maker to create a series that would focus on all aspects of making an album, from mere song recording to its release and promotion.
"I reached out to Chris Williams (chief audience officer, Maker)," Graham says. "I sat down with him and I told him my idea, and I actually had already shot the first couple episodes of the show and showed him them, and he got really excited. We decided it would be like the perfect project for us to collab on." See more

The Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs Told “No” For Talking Dead
For the first time ever, Andrew Lincoln will be appearing on the Talking Dead this upcoming Sunday. However, there was someone else that wanted to be on this week’s Talking Dead, but AMC apparently said, “No.”
On Sunday, Chandler Riggs, who plays Carl Grimes, tweeted at Chris Hardwick, “Nerdist you should have me on next week!” Or course, Riggs many fans thought this was a great idea, and they started tweeting their support.
For his part, Hardwick responded, “YOU CAN COME ON WHENEVER YOU LIKE, SIR! #OpenInvitation.”
However, it looks like Hardwick might have spoken too soon. Earlier today, Riggs tweeted, “AMC says NO TALKING DEAD for me-thanks everyone for your support & requests! @nerdist #ClosedInvitation.”
Chandler Riggs not being allowed on Talking Dead is leading to much speculation as to why. Could it be that something so shocking happens on the Season 4 Finale that AMC didn’t feel it was appropriate to have a child actor on to discuss? Or it is simply that AMC already has the guests planned out and mixing things up this late in the game could cause headaches?

Nathan Parsons howls about 'The Originals,' Hayley and fighting back
As werewolf Jackson on "The Originals" (Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. on The CW), Nathan Parsons is on the cusp of diving into a potentially bloody new battle as the werewolves attempt to rise up and wrest back control of New Orleans from those pesky vampires and witches. It won't be easy, but Parsons has high hopes -- though he, like Jackson, doesn't think Klaus (Joseph Morgan) can be trusted. I talked to the "General Hospital" alum about his role, howling fans and why it's okay for the girl his character was meant to marry -- Hayley -- to hang out with the enemy.
It seems Jackson is in cahoots with Klaus. Is that a good idea?
I don't think Jackson is even remotely interested in being a hybrid. I put my pack first, but at the same time Klaus is really powerful and has a lot of connections the werewolves need, and they need some way back in. I don't think he trusts Klaus at all. But at the same time, he's about to become the father of a werewolf.
Making Klaus part of the family!
Hopefully not. We're not sure what he's bring to the potluck dinner. He is now involved; whether we like it or not, he's connected to us. With Hayley, it forces a relationship that never naturally occur, so the werewolves have to ask how far they are willing to go to regain power. It was hinted that he would wait for the baby to be born and then off Hayley, but that was a long time ago and it seems his attitude toward her has changed We want her to come back and join the werewolves, though.
And you want her to get away from Elijah.
Eljah's fine, but he's not as fun as we are. We have the bonfires, the potluck dinners.
Yeah, but Hayley seems to be pretty taken with the guy.
I don't know if I'd put it that way. She doesn't know a lot about us, about her family. As much as we want her back, because she's the last hope and she can make us whole again, she has this connection with the people in charge. The vampires don't seem to be going anywhere. If the werewolves want to move back home, then maybe it's okay if Hayley keeps walking this line. If she gets into the family, maybe that gets us into the city again. There are possibilities, of course, I don't know.
You were on "General Hospital." Did that kind of demanding schedule help prepare you for series work?
It was definitely helpful. I had auditioned for "The Vampire Diaries" years ago before "The Originals" happened, so I was familiar with that mythology. Then I went in again on "The Originals" for a different part, so I've been very well rehearsed on the show over the years. It is such a rich mythology, but the werewolves haven't had their say. As much as we know about everyone else, we don't know about the wolves, so we have so much freedom to create in who they are, how they work, to be able to add more depth to those characterizations. It's all new.
Can you offer input, such as ideas for the plot or your character?
To an extent. This is a new show and where we end up going is anyone's guess, but because we are the first family of werewolves, I've had great conversations with Julie (Plec) and others about the thought process and where they want to go, and it's really awesome. See more

EMMYS: HBO’s ‘True Detective’ To Compete As Drama Series
One of the biggest questions of this year’s Emmy season has been answered, with HBO‘s buzzy True Detective opting to compete as a drama series. The project, created by Nic Pizzolatto and starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, was sold and done as an eight-episode limited series, which easily would’ve qualified it as a miniseries. FX’s anthology series American Horror Story, which airs 13-episode installments, started off in the drama series category at the 2012 Golden Globes before switching to longform for the 2012 Emmy Awards. It has competed as a miniseries ever since and has been dominant in Emmy nominations, landing 17 last year. The drama field is far more competitive and tough as PBS’ Downton Abbey found out after switching from miniseries to drama series after Season 1. Still, winning a drama series Emmy has a big cachet to it. Plus, True Detective does employ drama series storytelling techniques. But an entry as a miniseries would’ve pretty much guaranteed the moody Louisiana series a dominant performance and a slew of trophies. Now it will go against the final installment of AMC’s Breaking Bad among other drama heavyweights. With the TV Academy restoring separate best TV movie and best miniseries categories and True Detective not entering as mini, the longform field has a lot of room this year. Ryan Murphy is behind top contenders on both sides — film The Normal Heart and mini AHS. With the slew of event series put in the pipeline by the networks not slated to premiere until after the end of this year’s eligibility period (Fox’s 24: Live Another Day, for example, debuts in May and won’t qualify for 2014 Emmys), AHS‘ top competitor will likely be FX’s Fargo. Game of Thrones star Lena Headey: I believe Cersei is very frightened and paranoid
Ahead of Game of Thrones season four, Lena Headey, who plays Cersei, scheming mother of King Joffrey, talks to Helena de Bertodano about Hollywood, divorce and the hit HBO drama
When strangers recognise the actress Lena Headey their reaction is almost always the same. “I’ll be in a store buying beetroot and they’ll come up and say, ‘You’re such a b—.’ Or they’ll say, ‘Just f— slap that kid for me.’”
They are referring to her screen son, the monstrous King Joffrey in Game of Thrones, the fantasy drama television series that has become a global phenomenon and won numerous awards. Headey plays Cersei, a beautiful, malevolent and ambitious queen, who has an incestuous affair with her twin brother and dotes on Joffrey. In America more than 14.2 million viewers tuned in for season three. In Britain the box set for the same series was the fastest-selling ever.
With season four about to begin (it returns to Sky Atlantic on 7 April), Headey, who recently turned 40, is at the height of her career. She plays another queen in the recent 300: Rise of an Empire, a sequel to the 2006 blockbuster 300. As Gorgo, queen of Sparta, she is equally bloodthirsty and vengeful but her moral compass is stronger. “I think Gorgo fights for the good. Cersei is not like that.”See more

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman seemingly confirmed that Rick Grimes will survive the season finale…but suggested that fans will be “shocked” by what the character does in order to do so.
“This is Rick Grimes being pushed to his absolute limit,” Kirkman said, reiterating something he had said in a Reddit AMA earlier in the month. “And if you think you’ve seen that before, you haven’t. And the Rick Grimes that comes out of this is really going to shock people.”
That could gel with some predictions being made online that Daryl’s group — led by the charismatic but brutal Joe — is in fact a twist on The Marauders, a group of violent survivors who brought out Rick’s dark side in the comics and died for their trouble.
Kirkman added that while Rick Grimes hasn’t really been featured in the last several episodes, the second half of Season Four is very much his journey, and fans should expect a resolution of sorts on that score. See more

New Episode of ‘The Originals:’ Claire Holt Reveals Real Reason for Leaving
The Originals is all new tonight, and things are not looking good for Rebekah. Speaking of, Claire Holt recently opened up about the real reasons why she is leaving the series.
In tonight’s new episode of The Originals, Rebekah gets a taste of her own medicine. The official plot synopsis for tonight’s new episode, titled “Long Way Back from Hell,” reads:
“Rebekah gets locked up in a sanatorium where she worked in 1919. A witch seeks revenge against her and plans to reveal dark secrets that could destroy Rebekah if exposed. Meanwhile, Elijah makes a decision that puts Klaus and Rebekah in further danger.”
Earlier in the month, it was announced that Rebekah actress Claire Holt decided to leave the show. Rumors about the reasons behind Claire’s departure from the series began to fly.
Recently, Holt opened up to Buzzfeed about why she left, shooting down the rumors that writers ran out of material for her:
“It’s ludicrous. I want to be very clear that they didn’t run out of material, I wasn’t pushed out, I wasn’t fed up with Rebekah, I didn’t quit mid-season, there was no drama, there was no rift between cast members; it really came down to the fact that I completed my initial commitment and made a life choice, not a career choice...This show has been so amazing for my career, and I’ve had such unbelievable material, it was just never my intention to be away from home this long.”
She went on to add that she plans to return to the show somewhere down the road: See more

'Once Upon a Time': Was Captain Hook's comment to Emma rude or romantic? Vote in our poll
On first viewing, Sunday (March 23) night's episode of "Once Upon a Time" featured a swoon-worthy moment for fans of Captain Hook's repeated attempts at wooing Emma Swan. But in the cold light of day, many fans are now upset at his "romantic" comment, believing it to be extremely rude. So just what did the pirate say that is so polarizing?
While on the hunt for the Wicked Witch in the woods during "The Tower," Emma tries to get Hook to open up about his year before the new curse took effect, and he dodges her questions by asking one of his own. Did Emma consider Walsh's proposal (before he turned into an evil flying monkey)?
"Does it matter?" Emma replies. "I got my heart broken."
"Humor me," Hook says.
Emma then confesses to Hook that yes, she did think about saying yes to Walsh, since she was in love. But then she found out that he wasn't who he said he was and her heart was once again broken. That's when Hook took a step closer, and the corners of his mouth twitched up. "If it can be broken," Hook says, "that means it still works."
Hook was once again making his intentions for Emma known, and is glad that she's still able to fall in love after so many heartbreaks. But was this the right time to tell Emma he was glad she was able to get hurt, so soon after it happened? Vote in our poll below: See more

The Tomorrow People: Endgame review
he Tomorrow People is running out of steam, not a good sign with a competitive Monday night lineup...
Tonight's episode of The Tomorrow People is entitled “Endgame?” Does this mean the end is in sight for this season? No? There are five episodes left? *ahem* Sorry, didn't mean to get so excited. Let's face it...The Tomorrow People has been moved to compete with Dancing With the Stars, a show that took in over 15 million viewers with its season premiere last week. Monday nights put it on after Star Crossed, a tepid CW midseason replacement. This doesn't look like a huge vote of confidence from the network, and the show continued to shed viewers in its first Monday night installment last week.
So, Stephen's dad Roger is being protected in a frozen chamber by his brother, Jed, as part of some larger plan that's being kept hidden from The Founder. He's finally resurfaced, although what happened to daughter Cassie remains unresolved. One thing is clear, however: Jed is the master of keeping his thoughts hidden, resorting to sticking a blade in his hand to keep from revealing what's in his mind. Part of the plan involves John as well, who will kill the Founder.
Turns out Cassie is in the Citadel, and is the only chance to find the Founder (who just recently strolled into Jed's office...really?). Well, at least THAT whole thread hasn't been completely abandoned. One of the most frequently recurring themes during the show has been family. Cara ends up saving her own younger sister from Ultra, after she's identified as a breakout. "Can I make them go away?" Sophie asks, about her powers. The only way to do that is to go to Ultra, and I'm pretty sure Cara won't let that happen. See more
'The Walking Dead' recap: The Beginning Is the End Is the Beginning
It’s the penultimate episode, and the puzzle pieces of the season are finally fitting into place. The picture that they create, however, is a little too idyllic. Maggie and Glenn are reunited, alive and well. (Yay!) Along with them, Sasha, Bob, Tara, Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene have survived. (Yay!) Plus, they have all reached Terminus. (Yay?) I have a sick feeling at the pit of my stomach that Terminus may be home to those with a discerning palate. And I'm not talking sunflower seeds and corn. For more "Us" insights, check out Dalton Ross' initial thoughts here.
Glenn and Tara plus Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene
Glenn, Tara, Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene kick off the episode walking along the seemingly endless route to Terminus. Eugene is chewing Tara’s ear off (metaphorically) as he rambles on and on about dinosaurs, video games, and batteries. For the record, he doesn’t believe as other do that the Zombie Virus killed of the dinosaurs, as others may believe. Then again, it’s “enjoyable as hell to think of an undead ankylosaur going after a diplodocus. That there is a video game worthy of a pre-order.” This guy is supposed to carry the secret to the cause of the Zombie Virus? Sure he is.
At night, Abraham and Tara keep watch as the others sleep. Abraham speculates on why Tara is so loyal to Glenn. At first, he suggests it's because she’s in love with him, a “girl in love with the guy she’s trying to help to get to his girl” situation. This isn’t some kind of post-apocalyptic Some Kind of Wonderful. Instead, the shadow of the Governor and her guilt over the events at the Prison loom large over her. See more
The Vampire Diaries Review: “While You Were Sleeping” (Season 5, Episode 16)
Katherine Pierce (Nina Dobrev) may be dead, but she’s far from gone. On this episode of The Vampire Diaries, Elena (also Dobrev) explores a bit of her inner-mind and discovers that Katherine hasn’t lost just yet. You may recall that as a final parting gift to her doppelganger, Katherine injected herself with a little vengeance – in the form of the vampire-eat-vampire serum, laced with werewolf venom for an extra kick. Werewolf venom, even in this form, is still deadly to vampires. As we’ve seen before, the decline is a painful process of physical ailments and hallucinations. So not only does Elena spend most of this episode writhing in emotional pain as she slowly loses her grasp on reality, but she is suffering from hunger pangs as vampires willing to let Elena gorge herself on them were the one thing in short supply.
At the center of Elena’s delusions was her recently deceased friend, Aaron Whitmore (Shaun Sipos). A few episode back, at the height of Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) heartbreak misery, Aaron suffered an unfortunate accident – if you can call Damon ripping his throat out to prove Katherine right an accident. Perhaps since Katherine was impersonating Elena unbeknownst to her friends and family, it was more like a miscommunication of sorts. Either way, Elena’s subconscious obviously had the deep seated notion that something terrible had happened to him during her three week hiatus into the deepest crevices of her own mind.
This, naturally, forced the issue of Damon coming clean to Elena, which led to the couple confronting the truth about their relationship. Surprise, surprise, even with all the recent bumps in the road, they are still madly, deeply in love with each other. Which is probably a good thing considering that for a few moments earlier on, two vampire blood craving vampires were alone, together. It still remains to be seen if the cure that the travellers traded with Stefan (Paul Wesley) cures Elena completely, or just has managed to quell the annoying side effects for now. See more

'The Vampire Diaries': Paul Wesley discusses directing, Stefan's new doppelganger, romance for 'Steroline' and more
"The Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley decided to step out from in front of the camera for the first time to take over directing duties. His episode (Season 5, episode 18, "Resident Evil") airs Thursday, April 17, and he couldn't be more excited for fans to see all his hard work pay off.
Zap2it caught up with Wesley before he took to the stage for "The Vampire Diaries" PaleyFest panel on Saturday (March 22), and he smiled as he reflected on his first day at the helm of the show. "It was really oddly-natural for me," Wesley tells Zap2it. "It didn't feel all that scary or anything. Like, I was nervous for the first hour but then I just got right in the zone. I'll be honest, it was probably more comfortable to do that than be in front of the camera, for me."
In fact, Wesley enjoyed directing so much that he's already counting down the days until he can do it again. "Oh yeah, I am definitely going to do it again," Wesley says. "Not just on 'Vampire Diaries,' either. I'd love to direct other things, too."
Wesley is grateful for all the people who helped him with his directorial debut, making sure to note that he couldn't have done it alone. "Lots of people gave me some great advice before I did it," Wesley says. "I was also shadowing people, and I was asking a lot of questions. It was a whole process. It was great. I learned a lot and I had a great time doing it."
And like Wesley's off-screen life, he's also taking on more responsibility on-screen, as we're about to meet another Stefan doppelgänger. What we know about Stefan 2.0: He's an EMT. He's living in Atlanta. And Caroline and Enzo are on their way to kill him. Yikes! See more

Let's Talk About Ian Somerhalder's Sweet Interactions With Nina Dobrev
Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev were the duo of the night at PaleyFest's event for The Vampire Diaries in LA on Saturday. The CW costars and former boyfriend and girlfriend sat next to each other during a chat about their show, resulting in a few can't-miss moments. At one point, Ian even reached out and held Nina's arm, as costar Paul Wesley looked over at them. The interactions didn't stop there, though — the buddies also high-fived and leaned in as they pointed at the audience.
In January, Ian caused a stir when he kissed Nina at the People's Choice Awards, following it up with a loving tweet. "The world loves you!" he wrote. The actors have also spent time together during their breaks from work. Ian linked up with Nina at her birthday party, where they took an adorable photo with Julianne Hough. Vampire Diaries actor Claire Holt quits spin-off to return home
It isn't an easy choice for anyone, but Australian actress Claire Holt has revealed she quit the hit The Vampire Diaries spin-off, The Originals, because the time had come to choose family over work.
"It was a tough choice that I didn't fully make it right up until the end, because I was enjoying myself so much," she said.
"I realised I hadn't been home to Australia in years, I hadn't seen my family, and I hadn't spent time with the people I loved."
Holt was one one of the stars of the series, about ancient vampires living in modern day New Orleans. Prior to that she starred in the show's parent series, The Vampire Diaries, for three years.
Holt played "original vampire" Rebekah Mikaelson in the series. She was one of two Australians with roles in the series; the other is her former H20: Just Add Water co-star Phoebe Tonkin, who plays werewolf Hayley Marshall.
Both shows are filmed in Atlanta, a location which has kept Holt from seeing her family in Australia and Los Angeles.
"This show has been so amazing for my career, and I've had such unbelievable material, it was just never my intention to be away from home this long," Holt told the US entertainment news website BuzzFeed.
In the US both series air on The CW network. In Australia, they are owned by the Nine Network.
Holt indicated her departure from the series may not be permanent.
"I want to make it so clear that this show has such a special place in my heart. I am so glad I was able to do The Originals, and I want to be a part of that family for a long time," she said. "I am simply looking at this as a temporary absence."
Her comments come after speculation in the US media that she was frustrated with the material in the series, or that the show's producers had run out of ideas for the character. See more

Here's What Claire Holt Had to Say About Leaving The Originals
It hurts when a beloved character leaves your favourite TV show without much explanation. A couple of weeks ago, this happened to fans of The Originals, when it was announced that series regular Claire Holt, who plays Rebekah Mikaelson, had ended her run as a series regular on the show. It was first reported by BuzzFeed, and the topic was naturally brought up when the cast and crew appeared at PaleyFest over the weekend. Of her exit, Australian actress Claire clarified that she sees it only as a “temporary hiatus,” and shot down rumours that she had been pushed out, or that writers had run out of material for her character.
On the panel, Claire explained, “This was something that we’d discussed from the start, and I completed my initial commitment. And I made a life choice, and not a career choice. I made a choice to come home for a little while and I realised that I hadn’t seen people that I loved and cared about for a long time and it was so tough for me. And it really was a toss-up right to the very end, and even having this little space that I’ve had, I do realise that I am so not ready to let go of the Mikaelsons. And so I hope that there’s many more stories to tell.”
In another chat with BuzzFeed, Claire expressed how grateful she was to The Originals, a spin-off to The Vampire Diaries, for giving her career a massive boost. For her time away from the show, she plans to be in LA with her loved ones, and hinted at coming back to Australia for a holiday. And based on the PaleyFest pictures, Claire still has a strong rapport with her Originals family and joked around with co-stars like Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies and fellow Aussie Phoebe Tonkin. The Originals is fast-tracked on GO! in Australia, and is currently on hiatus because the US are as well. See more

‘Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’ Casts Talk Death and Dating at PaleyFest
On March 22, the casts and producers of the CW drama “The Vampire Diaries” and its spinoff “The Originals” hosted back-to-back PaleyFest panels at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood to talk about their craft for killing, kiss scenes and conniving plans — the second of which being by far the most interesting to fans, who treated the event like a modern-day Beatles concert. Amidst the screams from the audience, those on stage gave some helpful insight into both shows:
Julie Plec, who exec produces both shows, said the original “Originals” plan was to go back to Chicago, where there had already been some story with Claire Holt’s original vampire sister Rebekah from her time on “Vampire Diaries,” but that idea was scrapped when they realized they wanted to film in Atlanta and the two cities don’t look alike.
Instead, co-exec producer Michael Narducci said the idea for a New Orleans-set spinoff flowed freely when they visited the Crescent City and made use of its liberal open container laws.
Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies, who play original vampire brothers (well, Morgan’s character is a vampire-werewolf hybrid) were pushing for an “Originals” spinoff.
They would send Plec pictures of what they thought the show would be like. See more

'The Originals' PaleyFest panel: Claire Holt's 'temporary hiatus,' Joseph Morgan talks 'Klaroline' and more scoop revealed
When the cast of The CW's "The Originals" took to the stage for their PaleyFest panel on Saturday (March 22), the main question on every fan's mind was about Rebekah's recent exit from New Orleans and the show in general. Claire Holt decided to put the topic to rest once and for all, explaining how it was actually her decision to leave the series, and that had been the plan since the very beginning of "The Vampire Diaries" spinoff.
"As far as I'm concerned, this is a temporary hiatus," Holt says. "I'm taking a little vacation in the sun but I'm going to return to my New Orleans family. I just want to make it clear to everyone that these incredibly talented writers did not run out of story. They never will."
In fact, Holt made sure to let fans know that she wasn't "pushed out," or that she "quit mid-season."

Editing will prove tricky when 'The Walking Dead' moves to broadcast TV
The dead will rise, but the zombies might be ripping off fewer body parts when “The Walking Dead” comes to network TV this fall.
An edited version of the hit AMC cable show — arguably one of the best dramas currently on television — will make the difficult leap from cable to broadcast TV. “Walking Dead” repeats will air on the Fox-owned MyNetworkTV stations across the nation, including locally on WWOR/Ch.9.
It’s not going to be an easy transition. Cable, after all, is not bound by the same FCC content regulations that broadcasters are compelled by law to follow.
“Dead” is indeed one of the darkest, most violent shows on TV. That makes sense since it follows a group of people fighting to survive in a postapocalyptic world. Most of the population has turned into flesh-eating zombies — monsters who ooze ichor and slough off bits of rotting meat as they hunt.
Sources at the station group admit they are wrestling with how to edit the show for a broadcast network. But they assure anyone who asks that the series will conform to TV-14 standards. The FCC defines those like this: “Parents are cautioned against letting children under the age of 14 watch unattended.” See more
An edited version of the hit AMC cable show — arguably one of the best dramas currently on television — will make the difficult leap from cable to broadcast TV. “Walking Dead” repeats will air on the Fox-owned MyNetworkTV stations across the nation, including locally on WWOR/Ch.9.

'Vampire Diaries' Stars and EPs Reveal Season 5 Secrets
In front a very enthusiastic PaleyFest crowd, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley joined executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries to talk Twitter hashtags, dueling fandoms and Katherine's maybe-death.
The three main stars of The CW's vampire drama, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley, returned to the PaleyFest stage Saturday evening fielding multiple questions about the series-long love triangle and selfie requests (but mostly the latter) to a crowd of 2,600 at the Dolby Theatre, made up of the show's core demographic (teenage girls and twentysomething women).PHOTOS: PaleyFest 2014: 'Lost,' 'Pretty Little Liars,' 'Veronica Mars' Stars Celebrate
Ask a serious question about a character's free will, as one attendee attempted to do, and best of luck trying to hear the answer (Plec promised that they "dig deeper" into that in the March 27 hour.) And like the show's previous trip to PaleyFest in 2012, Somerhalder (or rather, "Smolderholder," as he was referred to multiple times) was the key draw, with many of the questions addressed to him and his alter ego, the sardonic Damon Salvatore. At one point during the session, Wesley quipped: "When in doubt, get a close-up of Ian's eyes," Wesley said, referring to Somerhalder's smoldering look.
Amid the incessant screaming and constant "I love you" declarations, the cast and executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries dropped some hints about what's in store for season five. See more
4 Burning Questions About The Vampire Diaries, Answered By the Cast
The Vampire Diaries cast was the latest ensemble to hit PaleyFest in LA this weekend, and Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev joined executive producers Julie Plec and Caroline Dries to chat about the show. They tried not to spill too much about what's coming up for the rest of the season, but they did loosen up a little to answer some important questions that have probably been plaguing most Vampire Diaries fans.
What's Going on With Damon and Elena's Relationship?
Plec said that currently, Damon and Elena "recognize the elements of the codependency of their relationship," and "they need to have legit adult conversations." Somerhalder added, "When you have grown up conversations, you have to put your big boy pants and big girl pants on," and then he cheekily added what the caveat is: "They keep taking their paints off, and that's what gets in the way of the grown up conversations." Somerhalder only gave us this nugget regarding the future: "It is what it is. Eventually it'll be . . . who knows?" Do with that what you will.Did Katherine Really Go to Hell?
Plec admitted that Katherine's fate is one of the few times that the writers have left it up to the viewer's imagination. "Damon says 'see ya in hell'," but it's still up to the viewer to ask, 'is that really what happened?' Dries said the writers "don't use heaven and hell and religion on the show," but "I thought it was pretty obvious it was hell." Fun fact: if the church looked familiar, you probably watch The Originals, because the set was borrowed from their sister series. Claire Holt
Fans were shocked earlier this month when The Originals star Claire Holt suddenly exited the show before the end of Season 1. Though some speculated that Rebekah Mikaelson’s story line had run dry, Holt set the record straight at Saturday’s PaleyFest event.
The Originals shocker: Which series regular has left the show?
“I wasn’t pushed out,” she said. “I didn’t quit midseason. This was something we discussed form the start. I made a life choice, not a career choice. I made a choice to come home for a while. I realized I hadn’t seen people that I loved and cared about for a while. It was so tough for me.”
The last we saw of Rebekah, her brother Klaus (Joseph Morgan) had vowed to kill her after discovering that she had brought their dastardly father to New Orleans in the past. But the two came to a détente, with Klaus setting Rebekah free. Fortunately, that’s not the last time we’ll see Rebekah. See more

'The Originals' at PaleyFest: Claire Holt hopes to return, and five more things we learned -- VIDEO
Rebekah fans can breathe a sigh of relief. As far as Claire Holt is concerned, the Original sister’s absence is only a temporary fix. But that was only one thing fans took away from the Originals PaleyFest panel, where cast and crew also discussed Elijah’s journey, the things they aren’t allowed to show on The CW, and whether The Vampire Diaries‘ Caroline might be making her way to New Orleans anytime soon.
Here are six things we took away — plus one bonus tidbit — from executive producers Michael Narducci and Julie Plec, and cast members Charles Michael Davis (Marcel), Leah Pipes (Cami), Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), Daniel Gillies (Elijah), Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Claire Holt (Rebekah), and Danielle Campbell (Davina).
The series was originally going to be set in Chicago.
When asked about their decision to put the TVD spinoff in New Orleans, executive producers Julie Plec and Michael Narducci reminisced about how Narducci originally “wanted to make it in a pizzeria.” “It was going to be Chicago,” Narducci said. Plec explained that their “original Originals pitch” was to take the family back to the history they’d revealed a bit of in season 3 of The Vampire Diaries, when fans got a glimpse at Stefan’s ripper past with Klaus and, of course, his relationship with Rebekah. But when they realized they were going to shoot in Atlanta, it could cause a problem. “I think we said Nashville,” Plec continued. “Pretty much every city in the United States of America.” But when someone brought up the idea of New Orleans, one trip (and a lack of open container laws) brought about the final idea of moving things down South. Joseph Morgan: 'Originals' at PaleyFest 2014 with Daniel Gillies & Charles Michael Davis
Joseph Morgan suits up for The Originals panel during the 2014 PaleyFest held at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday evening (March 22).
The 32-year-old actor was joined by on-screen brother Daniel Gillies, who brought along wife Rachael Leigh Cook, and Charles Michael Davis. Joseph‘s girlfriend, Persia White was also spotted on the carpet with him ahead of the panel.

“In ending Rebekah’s journey, we opened up a lot of room in the final chapter of the season, which is really exploring all these different factions we’ve introduced along the way: the witches, the werewolves, the humans, Klaus playing all sides, and now Elijah stepping into that leadership role to keep some semblance of peace,” EP Julie Plec shared about what’s next on the show. 'Grimm': 'Being Human' star Sam Witwer talks about playing a Blutbad in a Wesen carnival
Sam Witwer is used to acting in a TV series with a supernatural storyline. He plays the vampire, "Aidan," on the Syfy series, "Being Human," after all. But when Witwer was in Portland not long ago to play a Blutbad on "Grimm," he found there was a learning curve.
"You know, it's funny," says Witwer, by phone from Los Angeles. "On the set, I was asking for a lot of explanations. And people were like, don't you know all this stuff? You're on 'Being Human.' I said, we don't do it like that. I had to have a lot of stuff explained to me, and Silas was a real champ about that."
That would be Silas Weir Mitchell, who plays Monroe in "Grimm," the Blutbad who has reformed and now eats a vegetarian diet, as opposed to chowing down on more fleshy fare.
Witwer is a guest star in Friday night's "Grimm" episode, titled, "The Show Must Go On."
In "Being Human," Witwer plays a vampire, who is housemates with a werewolf and a ghost. His role as a Blutbad -- "that means werewolf, is that the idea?" -- in "Grimm" gave Witwer a chance to spend time with his pal, David Giuntoli. In "Grimm," Giuntoli plays Nick Burkhardt, the Portland Police homicide detective who discovered he's a Grimm, a descendant from an ancient order of Wesen hunters. See more

True Detective: how we made the most talked-about TV show of the year
The silent spaces and spooky folk crafts of backwoods Louisiana get as much screen time as Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey in director Cary Fukunaga's murder mystery
If you were looking to name the most talked-about programme on TV right now, you wouldn't have to be an obsessive policeman with a deductive intuition to alight on True Detective. Praise has been lavished on Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey in their roles as Louisiana state detectives Marty Hart and Rust Cohle. The mystery, in which the pair investigate a ritual murder in the bleak wilds of the bayou, has prompted much speculation and theorising. Some of us have even admired the folk crafts (wherever the detectives go they stumble over piles of spooky wooden icons). What binds the serial together, though, and elevates True Detective into truly compelling television is its eerie tone and complex structure. And that achievement is the work of 36-year-old director Cary Fukunaga.
"One of the images I first saw in my head when I read the screenplay was a plain landscape towards dusk," says Fukunaga over the phone from his home in New York. "There was a still, Magritte-like light hanging in the sky and these two cold, hard characters at the front, staring at a burned-out church. I loved the starkness of that, the openness of everything being exposed to the air. There's a lot of two-hander dialogue in True Detective, and I needed to place those guys in locations where there were other levels of visual storytelling. It didn't necessarily have to move the plot forward, but it had to add tone or add to the overall feeling." See more

Interview: Actor RJ Mitte talks 'Breaking Bad' and doing good before stop in Tampa
Walter White's son — and the actor who played him — is growing into a far better man than his Breaking Bad dad.
That's the way RJ Mitte sees his fictional character Walt Jr., five months after the acclaimed TV saga of meth and mayhem ended.
"Right now he's still shaken up by what happened, very focused on being with his mom and little sister," Mitte, 21, said by telephone. "He's the only man in the house now."
In real life, Mitte is viewed as an inspiration, after being diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy at age 3, now using his celebrity to advocate rights for society's disabled, aged and bullied.
Mitte, 21, is visiting the Gasparilla International Film Festival in Tampa this weekend, picking up a rising star award and supporting his feature film debut in House of Last Things, a haunted house yarn David Lynch might appreciate.
Earlier this week, Mitte called from South Carolina, midway through a 10-day speaking tour, promoting diversity in the arts and media. Giving back is in his blood, raised in a Louisiana family with a foundation donating to various charities.
"I grew up well," Mitte said. "I had family and friends who were there to get me out of my disabilities, to take control of my life. I was lucky enough to have that, so I'm always trying to give back, since I was a kid.
"It's a hard issue for some people when it comes to disabilities. People don't like to admit they have them, and that they need help. When you realize you have these faults, you turn them to your advantage. That's what I've always tried to do, and I'm in a unique place to do it." See more

Breaking Bad's Jesse Pinkman 'now a carpenter living in Alaska', says Aaron Paul
Aaron Paul has thrown in his two cents as to the fate of his character Jesse Pinkman after he escaped the compound in the Breaking Bad finale.
"His fingerprints are all over that lab and so he's in hiding," Paul told RadioTimes in a Need For Speed interview that inevitably broached Breaking Bad: "I like to think that he's living as a carpenter somewhere – somewhere in Alaska."
This is all conjecture of course. Only creator Vince Gilligan can really say where Jesse wound up after speeding toward the horizon at the show's close, though he did give hints in the final episode's script.
"Grimly determined, fearing nothing, [Jesse] speeds through the darkness," Gilligan wrote. "From here on, it’s up to us to say where he’s headed. I like to call it 'something better,' and leave it at that."
Whatever the 'something better' may be, we're unlikely to ever find out.
A Breaking Bad spin-off called Better Call Saul, focusing on crooked lawyer Saul Goodman, is on its way next year. But given it will be a prequel, if Jesse does somehow show his face he will be back in his teens. See more

Once Upon a Time's Lana Parrilla Debunks Big Theory, Teases Wickedness Ahead
Once Upon a Time took familial issues to a new level last week when it revealed that the Wicked Witch (Rebecca Mader), who has cursed the fairy-tale characters back to Storybrooke with no memory of the past year, is actually the older half-sister of Regina (Lana Parrilla). Nearly green with envy (ha!), Zelena is hellbent on making her little sister pay for getting the better life.
Exclusive Once Upon a Time Sneak Peek: Zelena tries to poison David!
"I thought it was wild and unbelievable and there has to be some kind of twist behind this because it doesn't quite make sense," Parrilla tells TVGuide.com of her reaction to the big reveal. "The first time I read it, I was like, 'This can't be! I'm an only child!'"
She's not alone in feeling that way. Many fans quickly jumped online after Sunday's episode to declare that it was all an elaborate ruse. The supposed evidence is Zelena enlisting one of her flying monkeys to steal Regina's blood, which could be used to trick the blood locks used in Regina's castle in the Enchanted Forest and her office in Storybrooke. She'd only have to resort to that if she weren't blood-related, right? Parrilla debunks that theory.
"As we move forward, other things are discovered, and we learn that she actually is her half-sister," she says. "It's quite jarring for Regina. She feels completely betrayed yet again by her mother. She's not too happy about it." See more

'The Walking Dead' Season 4: Is Rick still the most important character? (poll)
CLEVELAND, Ohio – There was no doubt from the first episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead" (or the cover of the first comic book) who the main character was.
It was so easy to connect to the terror felt by Rick Grimes (played excellently by Andrew Lincoln) as he awoke in a hospital to discover a horrifying version of the world he once knew.
As the show progressed and supporting characters took on larger roles, Rick still remained the major focal point. However, towards the end of Season 3 a shift started to take place. The season was split between the situation at the prison and the events at Woodbury.
That shift has been even more extreme during Season 4, whose first half focused heavily on The Governor (to a fault, if you ask me). Now, during the second of half of Season 4, we've seen the least amount of Rick since the show began in 2011. See more

'Game of Thrones' Season 4: Westeros invades New York City
Spring technically arrived on Thursday, but in New York winter is coming.
Introducing the premiere episode, "Two Swords," HBO programming president Michael Lombardo boasted that the series had "defied any attempt to pigeonhole it as a genre show" and promised that Season 4 would prove "Game of Thrones" to be the "best-written, best-acted" show on television. Series creators and show runners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss introduced the many members of the show's sprawling cast who were in attendance, including Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey and Jack Gleeson. (In a twisted tribute, the audience greeted Gleeson, who plays the sadistic King Joffrey, with a hearty round of boos.) See more
To promote the Season 4 launch of "Game of Thrones" on April 6, HBO has staged a takeover of New York City the likes of which have not been seen since the Siege of Storm's End. The Westerosi invasion began Tuesday with a splashy premiere at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall. As they trickled into the event, which was also live-streamed on Facebook, cast members -- and at least one starstruck cop -- posed with a giant dragon perched in front of the venue's famous fountain.
Inside, members of the New York Philharmonic performed the show's main title theme and "The Rains of Castamere," the Lannister family's chiling anthem -- the sounds of which will forever haunt anyone who's seen last season's Red Wedding episode. Ramin Djawadi, who writes the music for "Game of Thrones," conducted.
